Launching with LET’S SAVE ANTARCTICA and LET’S SAVE THE AMAZON this is an exciting new series with Walker Books. The theme of climate change defines this series, focusing on WHY these iconic places matter. Because…each spread is defined by a reason explored with stunning illustrations by Jean Claude. Drawing on the kind collaboration and expertise from scientists at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) , the Sustainable Amazon Network (RAS) and Executive Director of Greenpeace UK John Sauven, writing these books has been a fascinating learning curve. I passionately hope they will inspire children with wonder and curiosity about these extraordinarily beautiful and critically important places on our planet – threatened by climate change.
